Croatian telecommunications company Hrvatski Telekom has acquired rights for the Uefa Europa League club football tournament for three seasons, from 2012-13 to 2014-15.
Under the deal, Hrvatski Telekom will show one match live per kick-off slot as well as a weekly highlights programme on basic-tier pay-television channel Arena Sport 1. Three matches per kick-off slot will also be broadcast live across the Arena Sport pay-television channels.
The rights also cover the internet and mobile devices.
Last month, Croatian public-service broadcaster Hrvatska Radiotelevizija purchased the live rights to the top match each match week in the Europa League as well as a weekly highlights programme.
Both of the deals were brokered on behalf of Uefa, European football’s governing body, by the Team Marketing agency.
