UK pay-television broadcaster BT Sport has agreed a deal to broadcast this year’s International Judo Federation’s Judo World Championships national team event.
BT will broadcast a series of half-hour highlights programmes during the event. The IJF has also secured broadcast partners in a number of other countries such as China, South Korea, India, Russia and Turkey.
The 2015 Judo World Championships will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 24-30.
