IMG retains in-flight NFL rights

The IMG agency has signed a four-season extension to its in-flight rights deal with the NFL American football league.

The new deal will run until the end of the 2020 NFL season and includes live coverage on IMG’s Sport 24 channel.

Sport 24 will broadcast up to six games per week from the regular season, leading to the playoffs and the season-ending Super Bowl.

IMG will also distribute NFL programming to the in-flight industry on a weekly basis. Programming will include magazine shows, NFL Extra and NFL GameDay during the regular season, as well as the Road to Playoffs and Road to Super Bowl. Documentary programming will also be distributed.
