European football’s governing body Uefa has appointed the IMG agency to produce a preview package of programming for its Euro 2020 national team tournament.
IMG will produce 12 programmes featuring the 24 competing nations at what will be a special edition of the European Championships.
Each 24-minute programme will feature two of the qualifying countries and include player profiles, fan features, archive stories and host city guides.
To celebrate 60 years of the tournament, the event will be staged across 12 European host cities from June 12 to July 12, culminating with the semi-finals and final at London’s Wembley Stadium.
Nairn Salter, executive producer of IMG Productions, said: “Uefa Euro 2020 is the pinnacle of national team football in Europe and the series will be vibrant, youthful and informal in order to captivate the imagination of fans and viewers ahead of the tournament.
“There will be a strong emphasis on high production values, with expertly-shot material complemented by stylish graphics throughout.”
