UK commercial broadcaster ITV has renewed a rights deal for the Formula E electric car-racing championship.
The new deal will run for the second season of the championship, from 2015 to 2016.
Digital channels ITV4 and ITV4 HD will show all 11 rounds of the campaign on a live basis, with the season-ending London ePrix to be shown live on the main ITV channel.
ITV will also show an extensive highlights programme after each race.
Ali Russell, director of media and strategic partnerships at Formula E, said: “The interest and following of Formula E in the UK has been overwhelming, which was evident at the final two rounds in London.”
