Japanese pay-television broadcaster J Sports has extended an agreement for rights to the Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) motorcycling series.
The new agreement will cover the 2017 WorldSBK season, which begins at Phillip Island in Australia on February 24.
J Sports will continue to broadcast every round of the championship as part of the extended agreement, with the WorldSBK programme to air on Monday evenings. English-language commentary of the coverage will be provided via J Sports’ internet service.
J Sports agreed the extended deal with Dorna Sports, WorldSBK’s commercial rights-holder.
