The Learfield Sports agency has signed media rights deals with the athletics divisions of Butler University and the University of Northern Iowa.
The deal with Butler’s Bulldog Athletics will run for 10 years, from the 2015-16 season through to the end of 2024-25.
Learfield will represent Bulldog’s multimedia rights for the duration of the deal. The agreement will cover local television and radio platforms.
Learfield has also brokered a deal for WHO-HD, the regional Iowa affiliate of the NBC, to broadcast coverage of the Northern Iowa Panthers during the 2015-16 season.
WHO-HD will broadcast a total of four American football matches during the campaign.
WHO-HD will also show coverage of six additional games from the Panthers’ men’s and women’s basketball teams, women’s volleyball and wrestling.
Learfield will determine these additional six games at a later date.
