The Motorsport.tv motor-racing media platform has reached an agreement to showcase archive footage from the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance event.
The platform’s parent company, Motorsport Network, agreed the deal with event operator the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.
The Autosport website reported that the deal becomes effective on January 1, with the agreement to grant Motorsport.tv access to the entire history of official Le Mans 24 films. Motorsport.tv will be the exclusive online home for archive footage of the event.
Motorsport.tv will showcase more than 70 films and will also continue to offer future editions of the event. Autosport said the deal includes every official race film from 1954 onwards.
Content will be available through the Motorsport.tv broadband platform, as well as the soon-to-be-launched OTT mobile app.
