The Pitch International agency has agreed a deal with UK pay-television broadcaster Sky under which the two companies will market the English national rugby union team’s international rights.
In October, Sky agreed a five-season deal, from 2015-16 to 2019-20, with the Rugby Football Union (RFU), the sport’s governing body in England, for global rights.
Sky had previously held domestic rights in an agreement running from 2010-11 to 2014-15, with Pitch marketing the overseas rights across the same period.
Under the new deal, Pitch and Sky will sell the rights to all England’s home games, excluding Six Nations and Rugby World Cup matches, until 2019-20.
