UK pay-television broadcaster Sky has launched a triple-play service through its online streaming service Now TV.
Sky said the UK’s first ever contract-free triple play bundle, entitled Now TV Combo, will offer customers access to a monthly television pass, as well as unlimited broadband and a range of call packages.
The Now TV Smart Box will offer access to various live and on-demand channels, while customers can also sign up for a number of Now TV Month Passes, one of which offers access to the seven Sky Sports channels.
Sky holds rights to a host of sports properties, including football’s English Premier League, the NFL American football league and Formula One motor-racing.
Customers also have the choice of three unlimited broadband options, as well as three types of call package.
Now TV Combo comes with a one off set up fee of £40 (€48/$53) for ‘Unlimited Brilliant Broadband’ and £50 for ‘Unlimited Fab Fibre Broadband’ and ‘Unlimited Super Fibre Broadband’.
It will also launch with a 12 month special pricing offer across all packages. Prices range from £9.99 to £51.99 per month, plus line rental at £17.99 per month. The Now TV Combo will be available to customers from early July.
