German sports broadcaster Sport1 has acquired rights to the United States’ newest professional American football league, the XFL, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the next two years.
The rights package includes 43 games. Each weekend will consist of two games played on each Saturday and Sunday followed by the XFL playoffs and Championship.
