Sport1 adds AFL to Australian rights portfolio

German pay-television sports broadcaster Sport1 has further enhanced its coverage of Australian sport by acquiring rights to Aussie rules football league, the AFL.

The deal covers platform-neutral rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to the remainder of the ongoing 2022 Premiership season.
