German sports broadcaster Sport1 has agreed a three-year rights deal for the ADAC 24 hour Race Nürburgring, covering the 2014 to 2016 editions of the touring car and GT endurance motor racing event.
Under the contract with event organiser, production company Wige Media, Sport1 has acquired rights for television, online and mobile in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The 2014 ADAC 24 hour Race Nürburgring takes place at the German circuit’s legendary Nordschleife loop from June 19-22.
Sport1 plans to provide over 15 hours of free-to-air television coverage of the event, along with free live streaming of the entire race itself on Sport1.de.
