Uefa, European football’s governing body, has agreed rights deals in Bulgaria for the Champions League and Europa League with commercial and pay-television broadcaster BTV, and state broadcaster BNT for the Europa League, for the 2012-13 to 2014-15 period.
BTV has acquired all rights to the Uefa Champions League and will show two live matches each match night, one on free-to-air channel BTV, and one on pay-television channel RING.BG. A free-to-air highlights programme will be shown after the live match on the BTV channel.
BTV has also agreed a deal for all Europa League matches, excluding the first-pick match and will show one live match each match night on the BTV Action channel, and another on RING.BG.
Public-service broadcaster BNT has acquired the rights to the first-pick Europa League match, plus a weekly highlights programme.
The deals, brokered by the Team Marketing agency, include mobile and internet rights.
