Rugby Union: French pay-broadcaster Canal Plus acquired the rights for all 185 matches a season of the Top 14, French domestic rugby’s top-tier competition. The new deal runs from 2007-08 to 2010-11. Canal Plus will pay a slight increase on the €21m (£14m) a year it pays at present and will also share pay-per-view and video-on-demand revenues with the Ligue Nationale de Rugby.
