TV RIGHTS CLIPS 3: Olympics, rugby union, tennis, US college sport and more

Olympic Games: Norwegian commercial and pay-television broadcaster TV2 acquired the television, internet and mobile rights for the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics in a deal with the Sportfive agency. The fee for each Olympics was reported to be between NOK40m (€5.1m/$7.5m) and NOK60m, putting the total value of the deal at between NOK80m and NOK120m. TV2 will broadcast the most popular events in Norway on free-to-air, amounting to 300 hours. In the Summer Olympics, this includes athletics and any events featuring Norwegians who could win medals.
