Football: Lega Calcio, the body representing Italian football’s top clubs, agreed a number of deals for the domestic and international rights for the country’s top two divisions, Serie A and Serie B, covering the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. It awarded the international rights for both divisions to the MP&Silva agency for €181.5m ($268m). For Serie A, it awarded free-to-air highlights and radio rights to state broadcaster Rai. Digital-terrestrial operator Dahlia TV acquired digital-terrestrial live rights for Serie B, with Rai and digital sports channel Sportitalia winning highlights packages and Rai the radio rights.
