German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom is to offer offer a new package of sports channels operated by pay-television broadcaster Sky from August 2.
The Sky Sport Kompakt package will feature all of Sky’s coverage of the Bundesliga football top division and the Uefa Champions League European club football tournament, as well as the domestic Handball Bundesliga, Basketball Bundesliga and Deutsche Eishockey top tiers.
The package, which will be available for €9.95 ($11.66) per month, will also feature coverage of lower-league and women’s football matches, as well as content provided by Bayern.tv, the in-house digital platform operated by Bundesliga football club Bayern Munich.
The package will be available to viewers online and via internet-connected televisions, PCs, tablets and smartphones, as well as Deutsche Telekom’s IPTV service, Entertain.
