The Golden State Warriors’ dramatic slump in form this season has been compounded by the National Basketball Association taking two of the team’s games off national television this month.
The Warriors were scheduled to play on ESPN against the Utah Jazz and Portland Trail Blazers on December 13 and December 18 respectively. But the league announced that both games will be replaced by other match-ups.
The team was one of the league’s biggest draws during its run to five straight NBA Finals. But Steve Kerr’s men currently have the worst record in the league following long-term injuries to star players Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and the summer departure of Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets.
It now appears likely that the Warriors will barely feature on national TV in the US for the remainder of the season.
