Rai, Sky and BBC among first wave of America’s Cup broadcasters

A raft of broadcast rights contracts signed for sailing’s 36th America’s Cup include deals with both public-service and pay-television broadcasters in Italy and the UK, as a priority is placed on maximum exposure and distribution.

Deals with 14 broadcasters were announced today (Tuesday), including agreements with Rai and BBC, the Italian and UK public-service broadcasters respectively, along with pay-television broadcasters Sky Italia and Sky.
