German sports broadcaster Sport1 has renewed a deal for live and delayed rights to the FIM Motocross World Championship and FIM Motocross of Nations national motorcycle events.
The two-year deal will cover the 2014 and 2015 campaigns.
The broadcaster will show live coverage of the German round of the FIM Motocross World Championship on its pay-television channel Sport1 Plus. The 2014 German Grand Prix will take place in Teutschenthal on June 22.
Sport1 Plus will also broadcast a magazine programme after each Grand Prix of the 2014 season. Series promoter Youthstream will produce the programme.
In addition, the FIM Motocross of Nations event will also be broadcast live on the Sport1 Plus pay-television channel. A magazine programme about the event will also be aired on the broadcaster’s Sport1 free-to-air channel.
