Bangladeshi media group Massranga Communications has acquired exclusive rights to the Uefa Euro 2012 football tournament in a deal with the Sporty Solutionz agency.
Sporty Solutionz had earlier sublicensed the rights in Bangladesh from Indian pay-television broadcaster, Neo Sports, the competition’s rights-holder in the Indian sub-continent.
Neo Sports Broadcast chief operating officer, Prasana Krishnan said: “Neo Sports is focused on providing a comprehensive and best possible viewing experience of Uefa Euro 2012 for fans of football in the Indian sub-continent and are thus working towards providing the widest possible distribution on various platforms. We are extremely pleased to work with Sporty Solutionz in bring this event on a leading channel in Bangladesh and to work with them on maximizing the reach on digital platforms for this event”.
