German public-service broadcaster ARD has renewed its rights deal for the Deutsche Tourenwagon Masters, the German touring car series, for two years, from 2013 to 2014.
ARD also has an option on the 2015 championship series.
ARD, which has shown the DTM since 2000, and held exclusive live rights to the series since 2005, agreed the contract extension with the series organisers, Internationale Tourenwagen-Rennen.
